Welcome to the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department.
Proudly Serving Fayette & Rush Counties
The Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects and serves
approximately 244 square miles in Fayette and Rush Counties. Our
department was established March of 1963 and we are a totally
volunteer department. Our membership currently consists of 40
volunteers that provide fire protection, rescue, and basic life support.
We also provide mutual aid to surrounding counties.
